“On May 26, 2015 at 5:00 am a person described as a male 5’10” to 6’ 175 pounds to 185 pounds wearing a gray hoodie, light colored shorts, white socks and black shoes entered an unknown number of vehicles in the complex. He apparently has a device that is able to defeat the locking system on late model vehicles. The male entered the vehicles, ransacked center consoles and glove compartments.
The incident was reported to the Huntington Beach Police Department. Patrol checks are being conducted by the early morning units assigned to our area. If you have a loss you wish added to the report or if you have any information about this case contact Officer Tennant #1203 at 714 960-8811 and refer to file number 15-007626.
As a reminder, don’t leave valuables in your vehicle and, if possible, park your vehicle in your garage.”
